I'm new to this site/programe, after almost 38 years of spotting. I have numerous CAMS (Civel aircraft Markings) and JP's going back to 1976. And at last this programme could for the first time allow me to enter all this data onto 1 programe. But for 95% of all these reg numbers i do not have a date and location. Only the reg from my numerous reg books.
Can i enter these reg numbers onto plane Logger So it shows as seen. Without the need to add an airport or date ???
Cheers and keep up the good work Simon
The date and airport are required fields unfortunately, but you could always put dummy data in here. I suggest using ZZZ as the airport code, as it does not exist. For the date, take a rough guess, or use 1/1/1 or similar.

Ah so its ok to put "dummy" dates and airport. For many i can put LHR. I was not sure is putting dummy details was against the rules of the site.
Hi, I'm in a similar situation - I've got thousands of sightings going back to about 1980 but only have date and location for recent sightings. I'm currently pounding in 1999 onwards; once that's done I'll be doing all the unknowns using 01/01/then the best-guess year.
I've seen a number of sightings using airport code UNK - is that for "unknown" and could that be used instead?
i put OFF if i was not sure of location in my logs if not sure of exact date i put the 01/01/1980 or what ever year i saw it in always as 01/01. January 1st was a busy day for me. but the choice is yours to make.
Hi, same issue really. What do you use as location for overflights?
